Welcome to the NZOPA!
We are so pleased to welcome you to the New Zealand Orthotics and Prosthetics Association! The NZOPA is a professional organisation working to promote The Orthotics & Prosthetics industry here in New Zealand. We have been active in providing training, peer to peer learning and information sharing to continue to develop the profession. We offer training days, webinars and an annual conference for members and we are here to assist our members in any way we can. We also have a programme for accreditation of members based on their continued learning and professional development and demonstration of their skills and knowledge.
To become a fully accredited member of the NZOPA, a member must complete the requirements of the Continued Professional Development (CPD), as outlined in the CPD Information Guide and Participant Kit. Our accreditation year runs from the 1st of April to the 31st of March. New members receive provisional accreditation valid until the end of the current accreditation year.
Currently, NZOPA Accreditation is not available to our Associate Members, however we do encourage our associate members to take part in our CPD Program.
More information on the CPD Documents can be found in the Members Area of our website and access to the NZOPA Educational Portal can be found through the AOPA Portal Link on the home page, once you receive your Portal log in details.
